NAVANTIA acquires the Aprasys´s RSG100 simulator for its integration in CATIZ system

Tres Cantos – March, 2013. Navantia Sitemas FABA has integrated into the CATIZ system, the RSG100 (Pulse radar Simulator) developed by Aprasys.
CATIZ is the generic name of the command and control system that Navantia has developed for the international market. This system is the result of Navantia experience in similar systems for the Spanish Navy, applying initiatives of R & D The system is mounted on a center of experimentation in Navantia, where they do integrations of sensors and actuators of national and international companies. This Land Based Test Sytem (LBTS) also serves to make demonstrations with the obtained results.
The radar simulator integration in CATIZ allows it to generate signs and video radar from targets that have programmed maneuvres . The communication with the simulator is done by messages that are distributed over the network , whereby the simulator can add terrain data and produce the turning signals, trigger and video.
